The Belize Agricultural Health Authority (BAHA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries is presently executing a project to ensure that Belize remains free of Classical Swine Fever. This project is administered by OIRSA with funds from the Republic of China on Taiwan . During the period May to August 2004 we will be collecting blood samples from pigs throughout the country and we are asking the cooperation of all pig farmers to assist us during our visits.
